Weather boy was born in 2023, inspired by the traditional Japanese teru teru bōzu.

The different buttons on his body represent the weather and feelings of the day he was made.
That’s why every weather boy is a little different.

After moving to Japan, I gradually created three more characters to become his friends.

While living in Kyoto,
I found myself seeing crows almost every day.
Before I knew it,
they began to feel like wanderers drifting through the city.
Karu Karu was born from my affection for these familiar urban wanderers.
